prime location multiple entrances
the location was prime. two entrances exist, one on 44th street and another on 45th street, i noticed.
the bar and restaurant was closed. this i found out after i had arrived.

mixed experience at this hotel
faulty safe accusatory staff
the safe in my room malfunctioned. i needed it for medication i must secure by law. the staff member who came to fix it was accusatory. he assumed i was smoking and threatened a charge , despite my assurances otherwise. this was upsetting and unprofessional.

faulty shower head inadequate housekeeping
the bed WAS comfortable enough for a few nights rest.
the bathroom really let the room down. the shower head sprayed in all directions and the grout looked quite old. housekeeping did not clean thoroughly, and i found some hairs on the floor after they had supposedly cleaned.

dirty walls carpet stains
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location could not have been better.
The rooms looked run down and not very clean. I saw stains on the carpet. The walls also looked dirty, so I think management should consider reviewing the cleaning procedures.
